Delacre is an international agri-food company specialized in chocolate biscuits. The company is most famous for the Delacre-Délichoc brand products. The Delacre brand is distributed in Belgium and France but also in many foreign countries including Germany and Canada. The headquarters of Delacre are based in Brussels (Watermael-Boitsfort).

Our company is part of an international group together with the Danish company Kelsen. Kelsen is specialized in delicious butter biscuits. It's main brands are Royal Dansk and Kjeldens and core markets are Asia and the US.

Our global Marketing team is located in Brussels. Both the marketing for Delacre and Kelsen brands are coordinated here.

As part of this internship as a marketing assistant, you will work in an international team that is in daily exchange with the Belgium, France, USA, China, Hong Kong and many other countries This internship is an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with global marketing and international marketing coordination

Your responsibilities
As Marketing Assistant you support the Brand Managers & Group Brand Managers within the Marketing Department on the activities to be carried out for on several brands (_Royal Dansk, Kjeldsens, Delacre_), to contribute to the brand growth, collaborating with cross functional teams, in the following missions:


Delacre:


Assist the Brand Manager in the daily management of the brand:

• Participate in the development and launch of the Delacre new ranges and products
• Ensure good internal communication of the projects with all relevant departments (supply chain, graphic chain, ecc)
• Provide support to coordinate projects with our main distributors in France, Belgium and Italy
• Be the privileged contact for our external agencies : packaging design, website ecc

Kjeldsens & Royal Dansk:

• Support project management (existing portfolio and/or new products development)
• Deal with internal (i.e. Operations, Supply Chain, etc) and external (distributors) stakeholders
• Support brand guideline definition and monitoring the way they are executed for example in communication, packaging etc
• Support with data analysis, meeting doc preparation, system updates etc

Your profile
Still studying or freshly graduated in master's degree in Marketing or Economics

Interested in FMCG environment - ideally passion for food

Organizational/time-management and problem solving skills

Flexible and eager to learn

Curious, proactive and think outside the box

Multicultural sensitivity

Team spirit

Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Power Point

Nielsen, Kantar/GFK knowledge and previous marketing experience are assets

Fluent in English (Company's business language)

• French and /or Dutch speaking is a plus.

Internship conditions
6 months internship - 950 € per month

Expected start date:
September 2023 (ASAP)
Based in Brussels (Watermael Boitsfort)
