    Dark Light is a staffing agency specializing in the recruitment and outsourcing of data and business intelligence profiles. We are currently seeking an Enterprise Data Warehouse Engineer for one of our clients, a big player in the FMCG located in Brussels.

    Tasks

    For the setup of a new enterprise data warehouse, we are looking for an Enterprise Data Warehouse Engineer. Someone with proven business knowledge and relevant technical experience

    • Align with different business partners and prioritize their data needs
    • Find relevant business use cases and model these into the data warehouse using Data Vault (2.0) methodology
    • Analyze the data needed for the business use cases
    • Find the data in the "old" operational data warehouse using SQL

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years of experience in Data and BI
    • Knowledge of the set-up of a data warehouse
    • Strong business knowledge, being able to form the bridge between business and IT
    • Strong SQL Knowledge
    • Experience using Data Vault 2.0 (and VaultSpeed)
    • Able to build Kimball schemes
    • You are a team player
    • Fluent knowledge of English, and Dutch is a big plus
