As Benelux Sustainability Manager you are responsible for implementing and monitoring the Company's environmental and sustainability initiatives related to Planet (environment, energy management,..) Procurement (sustainable sourcing strategy, waste management, animal welfare, ) and People (wellbeing of our employees, ergonomic work environment, positive social impact, ) in our plants and our at our offices in Belgium & The Netherlands in collaboration with our Management Team Benelux.

WHAT DOES A SUSTAINABILITY MANGER DO?

Implement and communicate environmental and sustainability programs effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and measure progress of environmental and sustainability programs against objectives as well as compliance to legal requirements and report the findings.
Analyze, assess existing programs and processes for potential inefficiencies, define and implement the appropriate economical solutions and ensure continuous improvement.
Research and recommend solutions to reduce water and electricity consumption at site as well as reduction of all forms of pollution (energy, water & CO2 reduction).
Research and recommend methods for the usage and/or reduction of recycled and sustainable materials at site in order to be more environmentally friendly.
You operate as our CSR Ambassador and establish and maintain positive relations with internal and external stakeholders to keep track of their needs related to sustainability, recycling and waste management.
You report to the CEO.

OUR IDEAL SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER?

You obtained preferably a Master degree in Engineering, Bio/Environmental Sciences and have a passion for sustainability.
You are a team player and have strong interpersonal skills with which you can share your vision top down & bottom up in a spontaneous and convincing way.
You have good project management skills and can manage objective KPI monitoring in a transparent way.
Experience with legislation, audits, certificates in Q&E/Sustainability
You have knowledge of Dutch, English & French.
You are familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint,).
You are flexible and willing to travel between our different sites in Belgium & The Netherlands.
