    Objective of the role

    The Pricing Manager plays a vital role in implementing the LPBE pricing strategy effectively. They provide pricing insights, advice, and guidance to the LPBE sales teams (including New Business) to support and enhance their performance.

    Key responsibilities

    1/ Manage the entire commercial budget cycle:

    • Budget cycle oversight (orders, fleet, profitability, service index, and phasing)
    • Quarterly (re-)forecasting
    • Define and monitor commercial target setting (e.g., annual target setting with monthly performance review)

    2/ Evaluate approved vs. applied pricing at the client level on a quarterly basis

    3/ Lead (and document) weekly commercial pricing committee for strategic deal approval, including:

    • Manage excel macros for approval processes via email
    • First point of contact for commerce teams regarding client profitability cases

    4/ Maintain pricing files at the client level to ensure swift updates of client-specific or central pricing changes, including:

    • Support commercial standups for multi-supply customers to balance hit rate and profitability (4 times per week)
    • Initial support for internal quote-to-order teams
    • Uphold pricing governance within ALD | LeasePlan

    5/ Oversee monthly commercial KPI tracking for HQ following a defined format

    6/ Compile the quarterly rent index to monitor and identify pricing differences in our technical pricing

    7/ Report, monitor, and manage:

    • Commercial incentives at the client level in close collaboration with the finance team
    • Operational losses at the order level in collaboration with finance and risk departments

    8/ Represent commerce in technical pricing committees (RV and RMT)

    9/ Handle ad hoc assignments

    • Optimize reporting for commercial performance management, with a focus on Power BI
    • Support the pricing harmonization project with ALD Automotive

    Competencies

    • Analytical mindset
    • Data-driven approach
    • Ability to operate within the commerce function, translating narratives into factual data
    • Proficiency in understanding, designing, and constructing analytical models
    • Fluency in written and verbal Dutch and English

    Education and Experience

    • Extensive experience in Commercial and Financial environments
    • Proven track record in a financial setting
    • Advanced Excel skills, proficient in QlikView and Power BI (including administrative tasks)
    • Familiarity with SalesForce, Business Objects, and AS400 is beneficial
