We are actively looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients active in the logistics industry and located in the Flemish Brabant.

As a Senior Accountant, you will join a team of 3 people and occupy a position focused on accounting from A to Z.

You will quickly become an expert in your field Your knowledge, ideas and initiatives will be appreciated and encouraged in the implementation and improvement of projects and procedures.

Function:

In charge of invoices and payments (+ followup and relaunch)
Preparation & control the monthly and annual closings
Reconciliate the balance sheet and income statements
Establish financial reporting
Timely processing of incoming invoices and transactions
Prepare and followup of tax returns/VAT returns
Perform periodic internal audits
Actively participate in the optimization of the existing accounting & administrative procedures and identify new area of improvement

Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
At least 2 years of experience in general accounting
Fluent in French and good knowledge of English. Some good notions of Dutch are a plus
You are able to take over and prioritize your responsibilities while meeting deadlines
You are independent, handson and proactive
