The Role
Job description/Mission
In this role you are the liaison between Oil-free Air Production and Oil-free Air Purchasing.
As project leader logistic, you will be responsible to drive the implementation of logistic improvements in Oil-free Air production and you will be sharing the responsibility of Logistic Excellence Program.
You will also be responsible to proactively audit, define & implement process improvements in the supply chain & production of some of our critical suppliers.
In this position you will report to the Team Leader Logistics.Tasks & Responsibilities
In this function you accompany and support the flow teams with the management of the different logistic processes, the logistic flow and you define improvement processes.
Together with Sourcing, you will manage the Logistic Excellence Programme.
Your role will be to drive the implementation of logistics improvements at the suppliers site, inbound center, production department, purchase department and this supported by the department responsibles.
These include the evaluation of the delivery performance, Lead-time and the Oil Free stock of the suppliers. Supported by the buyer you will define improvement and follow-up actions where necessary.
Based on the needs and in co-operation with your purchasing colleagues you will perform logistic process audits at supplier production and manufacturing sites.
In case production volume change (up or down) or production line interruption you support required actions to mitigate the consequences of these events.
In order to achieve these objectives you will take initiatives in close co-operation with your purchasing and production colleagues in Antwerp and in the various Oil-free Air product companies.

Experience requirements
Good technical and logístical background
Knowledge/Educational requirements
Engineering degree from university or high school or equal through experience.
Additional schoolings/trainings within the area of Quality & Supply Management are an asset.
Fluent in English and Dutch, other languages are a plus.

Ready to travel :
Regular traveling in Europe but also outside Europe is part of the job.
