One of our important client is currently looking for a Data & Analytics Application Analyst for an 8-month contract in Brussels.

Within the BI & Analytics team, you will work as a Data & Application Analyst for the projects of the Transport Operations Directorate.

• You map out and document client's needs in terms of the reports and dashboards for which you are responsible.
• You translate these needs into concrete functional specifications for specific reporting purposes.
• You have regular contact with various departments and their directors.
• You are interested in Maintenance schedules, Immobilisation schedules, transport plans, human resources related to work schedules, and you are willing to make site visits to the various work sites across the country.
• You provide input and suggestions regarding reporting techniques to the business, through mock-ups, PoCs and best practices
• You validate the reports and dashboards, which are developed by an internal or external developer.
• You document the solutions and keep this documentation up to date.
• You regularly coordinate with users, suppliers and other stakeholders to develop the necessary roadmaps (improvements, bugs, incidents).
• As an expert of the application(s), reports and dashboards you manage, you are the point of contact for colleagues and business stakeholders.
• At all times, you guard the consistency with existing business and solution

• You participate in the development of test scenarios, functional tests and data

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience within a similar role (Application Owner, Functional Analyst, developer...)
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of and experience with Agile Scrum
• Knowledge of the public transport sector
• Knowledge of SAP data extraction to Azure
• Good knowledge of PowerBI
• Knowledge of various analysis techniques (use cases, scenario building, ...)
• Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written
• Good communication skills
