What will you do?


As a Senior Business Strategist, you will lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify, design, concept test and deliver desirable and viable solutions.

You use your project leading skills to oversee the overall design strategy:


1. Lead strategy & business design

  • Be the internal expert when it comes to business design. Help colleagues and create a way of work / tools / templates to standardize the Made way of derisking innovation viability
  • Derive a creative synthesis from market data, behavioral economic insights, and future visioning and translate those insights into viable and robust strategies
Prototype, test and validate the financial & business strategy by developing small and large business cases as well as executing operating plans

  • Assess the core competences, resources and capabilities of the company to reflect on the innovation's opportunities and risks
  • Assist OR lead in defining, building testing and launching exciting corporate and startup ventures and participate in decision making towards pivot or proceed
  • Support in making quotes and pitching projects to clients together with business developers

2. Lead multidisciplinary project teams

  • Steer a multidisciplinary team of experts from product, digital, service
- and business designers and translate your strategy into tangible outcomes

  • Lead the design strategy and make sure the human design (people and customer) perspective is the guiding principle along the whole process
  • Analyze a client brief: Turn the why, how, and what into concrete and actionable project plans with budgets
  • Organize and facilitate workshops and ideation sessions
  • Present insights, concepts and design rationales to internal and external audiences

3. Lead clients with stakeholder management skills

  • Inspire clients and stakeholders and challenge them to go one step further
  • Be the single point of communication (SPOC) for the client for your project
  • Be an intrapreneurasaservice who can act proactively and pragmatically to help our clients to launch successful projects and ventures
  • Present & Develop materials to communicate project progress to clients and partners on key milestones
- convince stakeholders through persuasive written and verbal communication


What we are looking for

  • You feel comfortable in the fuzzy front end of an innovation track. You think in experiments and hypotheses to validate the value of propositions in the market.
  • You have a (Post) Master's degree or minimum 5 year relevant work experience in Economics, Innovation-Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Marketing.
  • You calculate TAM/SAM/SOM, ROI, NPV, and ARR with ease.
  • You have a template ready to prototype a venture's P&L in just a few hours.
  • You can work independently, but you have the mindset of a team player.
  • If you know design thinking and master business modeling, to make financial models and investment plans. You are up to speed with stateoftheart business models.
  • You're fluent in English, and it's a big plus if you're fluent in Dutch. The notion of French is nice to have.
  • Drivers License B
