Cyber Security Officer - Brussels, België - Doowings

The Cyber Security Officer will collaborate closely with operational managers and IT project managers to identify and address cybersecurity concerns, coordinate with the IT Project Management Office to ensure alignment with existing IT processes, work in tandem with Information Security Officers to maintain risk and compliance standards, and partner with Data Protection Officers to safeguard privacy.

Main Tasks:

Contribute to various cybersecurity projects and collaborate with third parties to provide the necessary security solutions for safeguarding the organization.

Collaborate with the CSIRT team to offer third-level support during incident response activities, encompassing root cause analysis, remediation, and forensic investigation.

Consolidate all identified vulnerabilities and oversee the implementation of remediation measures.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Relevant experience in cybersecurity

Spoken and written fluency in English

Spoken and written fluency in Dutch or French

Knowledge of the OWASP top 10, testing guides, and verification standards

Knowledge of red team - blue team tactics

Familiar with vulnerability management process

Knowledge of SIEM (Sentinel), Forensics, and Malware analysis

Experience with Linux distributions such as Redhat and Ubuntu

Familiar with Azure cloud security concept

Programming experience with Python and/ or Front-end Angular/Html/CSS/Bootstrap

Ability to query and manipulate databases using SQL

Able to use PowerShell and Bash to automate tasks and administer machines

Knowledge of IT security such as encryption, PKI, OS hardening, anti-virus, etc are a plus
