    Wat houdt deze vacature in?

    'Digital first' is een van de kernelementen van KBC's strategie. Een betrouwbaar netwerk voor alle gebruikers is dan ook essentieel. Zo kunnen onze medewerkers bijvoorbeeld altijd vlot gebruikmaken van digitale toepassingen via VPN en Wi-Fi.

    Als Systems Engineer in ons team versterk je een fijne groep collega's die veel ervaring hebben met user networks. Omdat we verschillende domeinen beheren, zijn er altijd leerkansen. We zijn verantwoordelijk voor end-user connectivity-technologieën als (SD)WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN en firewalls, voor alle Belgische kantoren en een aantal kantoren in het buitenland.

    Jouw focus binnen ons team? De toepassingen die via onze VPN- en Wi-Fi-infrastructuur lopen. Samen met je collega's zorg je voor een user network dat schaalbaar is, makkelijk te onderhouden en een hoge beschikbaarheid heeft. Klaar voor die uitdaging?

    Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je wordt mee-verantwoordelijk voor onze VPN-oplossing, zowel de backend-omgeving als de client side, en het draadloze netwerk. Je monitort de performantie ervan, alsook de system resource utilization, trending en capacity planning.
  • Je geeft 2e/3e-lijn support . Je doet aan troubleshooting om issues en problemen op te lossen. Daarvoor ben je regelmatig in contact met vendors en collega's.
  • Je onderhoudt het netwerk en voert upgrades uit. Denk aan service packs, patches, hotfixes en security configurations.
  • Voor wijzigingen aan de netwerk-infrastructuur volg je ons beleid rond configuraties en change management.
  • Samen met collega's selecteer en implementeer je tools, policies en procedures rond security .
  • Je configureert en installeert network devices en -diensten als routers, switches, firewalls, VPN of QoS.

    • Jouw troeven?

  • Je hebt minstens een goede basiskennis van VPN (Pulse secure PCS) en Wi-Fi .
  • Ken je ook iets van LAN, (SD)WAN, NAC, Firewalling, Cloud Integration of Scripting? Nog beter
  • Je kijkt ernaar uit om als één team samen te werken met je collega's.
  • Je begrijpt dat er soms ook iets moet gebeuren buiten de kantooruren en bent bereid om in een beurtrol van wacht te zijn.
  • Je vindt het makkelijk om incidenten de juiste prioriteit toe te kennen. Het ene issue is nu eenmaal belangrijker of dringender dan het andere.
