Tasks
Under the supervision of the Application Support team, the service provider will

assume and/or assist in delivering all tasks related to housing and hosting services,


and especially the following ones:

  • Deployment. Assistance with deployment and configuration of the CMS
  • Customisation. Work with development teams to tran Service Level
Agreement te business requirements into solutions. Make the customisations

required. Prototyping. Elaboration of test programs.

  • Documentation. Writing of technical documentation
  • Content types. Build the required content templates (content types.)
  • Migration. Provide advice, assistance or migrate EEAS content into the CMS
Processes. Work with the business users to adapt business processes to the

CMS.

  • Audits. Conduct content audits in the site content (e.g. to identify
redundancies, analyse analytics data to learn how users interact with your site)

  • Policies. Develop policies relating to the organisation of the content
  • Support. Help business to understand and use the CMS

Knowledge and skills
The tasks to be performed require the following specific knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of SDLC and Release Management
  • 2 years of experience as System Administrator or in a service management
office providing support to end users and other stakeholders

  • 1 year of experience in operation and administration of Cloud/SaaS
  • Formal, technical and disciplined approach to IT Management with strong
focus on policy enforcement and documentation.

  • Good knowledge of the following technologies:
  • Weblogic and/or Apache Tomcat
  • Git / Jenkins (at least one)
  • Linux Server Administration and shell command and scripting
  • Windows Server administration
  • SQL and Oracle 12c
  • Well skilled in MS Office suite (Excel and Power Point)
  • PHP

Familiar with the following:

  • Networking (IP/TCPIP stacks)
  • Information Security principles and practices
  • Project Management concepts, techniques and vocabulary
  • ITMS (ticketing) tools: ServiceNow, Jira or equivalent.
  • SDLC: agile, scrum, waterfall, etc.
  • Moodle
  • Jive (will be trained)
  • Ability to work (speaking/writing) in English for all project artefacts and
meetings
