Join Our Team as a Desktop Support Technician


Are you a skilled problem solver with a passion for providing top-notch technical support? We're seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team and provide hands-on support.

As a key member of our IT Governance and Service Delivery program, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and optimal service levels across our IT infrastructure.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify, document, and address the technical service requirements of our Europeanbased Sotera Health business units and user community.
  • Collaborate in the design, implementation, and enhancement of key service delivery processes.
  • Partner closely with the Global IT Helpdesk to provide effective firstlevel support.
  • Contribute to Problem Management initiatives for our local European facilities.
  • Engage in Change Management processes to support seamless transitions.
  • Participate in Major Incident Management, including stakeholder communication and postincident reviews.
  • Take a handson approach to resolving reported incidents and fulfilling user support requests.
  • Actively participate in our annual Computer refresh program.
  • Contribute to ongoing service and process assessments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Gather and incorporate customer feedback to enhance the performance of our Service Desk and desktop support functions.
  • Collaborate with the wider IT team and other business functions to ensure seamless integration with key support processes.

Experience/Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in an IT service delivery role, serving internal customers in a global, multigeographic organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT Service Management functions, including Service Desk, Problem Management, Change Management, and Incident Management.
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to understand and address customer expectations effectively.
  • Proficient in translating business requirements into technology and service solutions.
  • Excellent task and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Handson experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office Suite, and desktop Windows Operating systems.

Salary:
€3.000,00 - €4.000,00 per month
