In order to reinforce our Consulting team in Diegem, we are looking for Junior Technology Consultants who can start in september 2024 to operate in following competences:

Technology Consulting

Become an integral part of the future by helping our clients in their Business & IT transformation, performing activities such as:

Business/IT strategy alignment : assist our clients in defining their future Business/IT strategy and how to achieve their goals through a well-defined roadmap

Design and improvement of IT operating models : contribute in creating the design for the future IT operating model of the client, so that the IT infrastructure & design can create the best value towards all stakeholders of the client

Business/solution architecture for IT transformation projects : understand the requirements of the business and help design the new architecture that will come forth from the transformation project

Transformational business program management, Project/team management & PMO activities : be the backbone of the team, aiding the team and the client in organizing themselves according to the best practices (Agile, Scrum, ...)

Requirements definition and business process design to sustain implementation of ERP software: sit together with the business to understand and define their requirements, create the required documentation (functional and/or technical) as backbone for the software development and follow-up with the architects on the design of the software

Business process testing of software : test the configuration and processes until it breaks to help ensure the product will be viable for the client

Configuration of ERP (SAP, Microsoft,...) : dive into the configuration of the ERP system, learn how configuration is performed and get to configuring yourself

Technology Solution Delivery

Our CPM (Corporate Performance Management) Experts team works collaboratively with our clients to implement and manage solutions that allow them to perform their financial consolidation and run their planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. This covers all aspects of design and delivery of CPM solutions, including helping our clients select the right tools and streamline their processes. Our teams include experts in different fields (Solution Architects, Project/Program Managers, Business Analysts, Developers)

Software Selection : Leveraging on our various global software alliances and deep functional and technical knowledge, we guide our clients in choosing the right technology to tackle their needs. This implies to work closely with them to capture their strategy, vision and translate it into elements that will allow the right selection

Streamline Processes : Our team is composed of mixed skilled consultants in Finance and IT, that are able to map processes and propose best in class approaches on Financial closing, Planning, Budgeting and forecasting.

Implement Solutions : Thanks to our knowledge and deep experience in implementing CPM solutions and manage large global IT projects, we design, build and test applications to help our clients manage their performance by reporting their actuals, whether it is from a statutory or management point of view, and project themselves in the future when it comes to budgeting and planning. Our projects always include some key components such as project management, master data management and data integration

Data & Analytics

As a future Data & Analytics Consultant, you will help our clients in the following domains:

Data Science: covering operational and in-stream analytics, predictive and prescriptive analytics, industry models and analytics enablement and governance. This provides actionable enterprise insight and delivers value from the right enterprise data. The area of Data Science includes multiple fields of study like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and is expected to be a key driver for growth in the coming years.

Data Management, Architecture, Migration and Integration: providing the foundational layers for enterprise data accessibility, covering data sourcing and integration, data hub, data lake, data warehousing and data modelling, master data management and data rationalization and migration

Data Quality and Governance: developing an organization that treats data as a critical enterprise asset and sources quality data for business use and regulatory compliance. This includes examining the fitness for purpose of data for specific business needs, data remediation, and the strategy, roles, policies and processes to effectively manage data through its lifecycle

BI Reporting and Business Analytics design, architecture and implementation: at enterprise and departmental levels, including data visualization. This comprises the end-to-end business analytics and reporting lifecycle across advisory and strategy, identifying compliance reporting trouble spots and delivering achievable roadmaps, to vendor selection, design and implementation

Qualifications

You are a last year Master student in Information Technology, Engineering, Applied Economics, Commercial Science, Computer Science, Commercial Engineering or related. A Manama degree or MBA is a plus;

You understand the IT industry which enables you to demonstrate leadership and inspire trust to our clients;

You have excellent communication skills in English, and are fluent in either Dutch or French;

You demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;

You have good analytical, reporting and presentation skills and you are results oriented.

What's in it for you

Participate in client engagement teams regarding the implementation & maintenance of mainly BI/EPM projects (involving 3-5 EY team members), back-end as well as front-end reporting & dashboards creation;

You are responsible for the translation of functional requirements into technical specifications;

You analyze the technical requirements;

You develop and implement function modules, interfaces, reports, transactions, etc. for SAP BPC and SAP BI and other technologies;

You will be responsible for the testing and maintenance of your developments;

You document your developments and collaborate on the testing scenarios and user manuals;

You are in charge of performance tuning.
