You will be supporting the international roll-out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and helping us to advance our portfolio of late clinical-stage products that address significant unmet need in oncology and rare diseases.


About You

Education and Experience:


  • PhD in Chemistry or related field.
  • Strong background in radiochemistry, with a focus on alpha radioisotopes.
  • Experience in handson laboratory work, preferably in a postdoctoral or equivalent role.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to coordinate with external collaborators.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize deliverables and manage time effectively.
  • Willing to work daily onsite in Seneffe, and open to come to our site in Herstal if needed.
  • Fluent in English both written & orally. French would be considered as an asset.
  • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with global team members across multiple timezones

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Director of Targeted Alpha Therapy, design and conduct experiments involving the use of alphaemitting radioisotopes.
  • Develop and optimize radiochemical processes for the synthesis and purification of alphaemitting compounds.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment for the detection and measurement of alpha radiation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations related to the handling of radioactive materials, particularly those emitting alpha radiation.
  • Research and innovation support for preclinical and manufacturing projects utilizing alpha radioisotopes.
  • Execute alpha radiochemistry activities onsite and overseeing external projects.
  • Develop drug product manufacture processes to comply with health & safety requirements and pharmaceutical quality guidelines in accordance with the demands of the production director.
  • Support inprocess optimization, scale up and continuous improvement
  • Support development of GMP grade procedures including the use of automation, upscaling, and where appropriate; GMP implementation
  • Develop and execute Tech transfer documents.
  • Collaborate with the Telix group radiochemistry team for product technical transfer and sharing alpha radiochemistry expertise with the wider Telix group.
