As a Product Director DC you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electric vehicle charging.

In this role you will have a great impact on the strategy, roadmap and financial success of Smappee's DC smart charging solutions of tomorrow.

In this role, you will be conducting international market research, identifying product gaps and creating innovative solutions.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our DC charging products are profitable, user-friendly, well designed, high-quality, and meet customer needs by forming the link between R&D, Sales, Finance and Marketing as well as international market developments.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for Smappee's charging services that fits with the overall Smappee product strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives
  • Leading the transformation of Smappee from a solely productcentric organization to a comprehensive ecosystem where both products and services are integral components, contributing significantly to overall quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and potential threats
  • Establish and nurture key international partnerships with industry stakeholders, clients, and installers to support the needs of large corporate clients.
  • Develop business models and pricing models for service solutions and ensure competitive pricing strategies
  • Carry end responsibility in service pricing and costs alignment with market demands while meeting the company's margin targets
  • Take responsibility for quality control of partners, ensuring they meet Smappee's certification standards through our Smappee Academy.
  • Foster alignment with crossfunctional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain and customer support, to ensure seamless service offering and delivery

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product/general management in a serviceoriented environment
  • A strong track record of successfully launching and managing service offerings or solutions
  • Experience in managing profit & loss (P&L) for an offering or service portfolio
  • Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams while leading service development and market intelligence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to different audiences in English
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities with the ability to drive datadriven decisions
  • Knowledge of the electric vehicle market, including charging infrastructure, energy management, and related technologies is a plus
  • A 'green heart' and believe in renewable energy
