RENAL EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT MANAGER BELUX**The
Renal External Engagement Manager is a critical role within the BELUX business, responsible for the overall delivery of top tier External Expert activity across multiple key stakeholders in the renal ecosystem building commercial advocacy and endorsement as part of the renal launch lead team.


You will be accountable for maximising the commercial opportunity for Nephrology business across top external experts in key centres, relevant scientific societies, Healthcare professional organizations and patients' associations responsible for the development and execution of high-quality external engagement plans to build advocacy across the ecosystem working closely with the cross-functional key internal local, regional and global stakeholders, brand team and key-account management teams.

This includes collaborative, innovative development with customers to build mutually beneficial plans and establish GSK's leadership in anemia with CKD.

In short, you have a pivotal role to play at an incredibly dynamic and exciting time in a key launch as we build a new GSK


Background


GSK have recently shared positive headline results from five Phase 3 studies investigating the potential of our oral treatment, for treating patients who are suffering from anaemia due to chronic kidney disease.


Approximately 1 in 10 patients worldwide are affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD), many of whom experience the complication of anaemia which currently leaves them with symptoms that can reduce quality of life and increase risk of cardiovascular disease, hospitalisation and mortality.

We now need to start accelerating our commercial launch planning and execution by partnering with key stakeholders in renal with a view to bringing this transformational medicine to patients and health care professionals


This is a tremendously exciting time in GSK with over 20 vaccines and 42 medicines in our pipeline many of which are potential best or first in class opportunities.


This role will report into the Renal Business Unit Director and is an opportunity for a talented individual to make their mark on this high-profile next chapter in GSK's evolving Speciality product pipeline

This will be done by:


Develop and execution of a robust external engagement plan in the area of Chronic Kidney Disease and with a focus on anaemia of CKD Create partnerships with the external expert community that results in increased collaboration between GSK and renal community to shift the paradigm from an ESA approach Define and lead BELUX external engagement initiatives to unlock growth potential for the nephrology area and building on these activities to establish long term sustainable relationships with key stakeholders, societies and organisations.

Partner with the cross-functional BELUX launch team (e.g. medical, market access) as well as regional and global external engagement roles to ensure a harmonised approach to GSK's external engagement in aCKD, leveraging multiple communication channels Work closely with other engagement leads in key launch markets to identify and implement best practice relevant to the BELUX market Lead the development of P2P programme as part of the launch, alongside national congresses and working closely with EU/global teams to develop presence at international congresses


Your responsibilities:


  • Ownership of the key external experts' integrated individual plans (focusing on top HCP's, nurses and organisations
  • Accountable for delivery of key BELUX customer activities and strategic projects aligned to the needs of our key external experts along the renal ecosystem
  • Drive plans with our key experts that align to key business objectives
  • Collaborate with medical & market access teams to ensure oversight and sequencing of content and activities providing a customer centric experience for external engagement
  • Leadership of key national congresses and associated events
  • Oversight and management of 3rd party vendors for meetings & engagement specific projects
  • Build strong and collaborative relationship with global & regional teams to ensure strong alignment to ensure mobilisation of key experts
  • Identify content gaps to drive specific initiatives to bridge this gap through localization of global/regional activities or development of local initiatives
  • Manage PO and budget aligned to projects
  • Deliver upon a harmonised approach to our external engagement & implement a customer centric digital platform to enable sharing of External Expert content
