FINANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER
located at ERTVELDE

The job

As our finance operations manager, you will be at the heart of our accounting operations in Europe.

In this key leadership role, you'll oversee our multinational transactional accounting team who is responsible for purchase to pay, cash collections, record to report and the reporting factory as well as our finance global process owners.

You will have the opportunity to shape the financial
processes and systems, whilst ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

You lead a multinational accounting team alongside with your team leads, fostering collaboration and professional growth in a virtual work environment. You cultivate a culture of excellence, adapt to diverse cultural perspectives, and leverage technology for effective remote teamwork. Additionally, you oversee the organization's accounting functions, ensuring robust processes across various areas such as transactional cash & collections, record to report, and purchase to pay.
You drive initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of accounting operations, leveraging process optimization and automation to reduce cycle times and increase accuracy, including drafting operational procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for internal stakeholders.
You guarantee the accuracy of financial transactions and declarations with international and national standards.
You support the integration of new technology and systems to streamline and optimize accounting operations.
You work closely with other finance functions and business teams to ensure seamless operations and achievement of broader organizational goals.
You are an integral member of our finance leadership team, contributing to the development and execution of Oleon's finance strategy.

In this role, you will report directly to the CFO.

You have a master's degree in finance, or a related field coupled with a solid experience in a finance management role within an international setting.

You are willing to occasionally travel to various Oleon sites (max 20%).
