Our client, a pioneering technology company headquartered in Ghent, is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join their dynamic team.

They specialize in developing advanced software solutions, focusing on innovation and cutting-edge technologies.

As part of their expansion, they are looking for a talented individual to contribute to one of their ongoing complex projects.

Responsibilities:

Conduct functional analysis of components, defining their scope and technical specifications.
Research, develop, implement, and maintain new software code for our client's products.
Collaborate closely with Project and Product Managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Work independently and in agile teams during the development and implementation phases.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the field.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in PHP development with experience in delivering successful projects.
Handson experience and good knowledge of frameworks such as Symfony, doctrine ORM, RabbitMQ, supervisord, etc.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and GIT version control.
Interest in working with modern technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, protobuf/flatbuffers, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
Knowledge of protocols such as REST and websockets is a plus.
Curiosity and willingness to learn new languages and technologies.
Excellent teamwork and knowledgesharing skills.
Strong problemsolving abilities and a goaloriented mindset.
Enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and a positive learning attitude.

Next to this fluency in Dutch and English is required.
