**Location: Brussels, Belgium

**How You'll Make an Impact

  • You will be part of the Brussels Government Affairs team, currently three people strong, and the wider global Government Affairs community and Communications community.
  • You will monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on Siemens Energy's business. Key areas will be energy, climate and industrial policy, but adjustments are possible.
  • You will lead advocacy campaigns and risk management to shape policy developments.
  • You will regularly inform business areas about political developments and coordinate with them internally to define policy asks, align messages and implement campaigns.

What You Bring

  • A university degree, preferably Master's.
  • At least 57 years of relevant experience in government relations, European public affairs, or similar roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of European energy and climate policy and EU decision making process, good knowledge of other policy areas including industrial policy and international relations, good business acumen.
  • Good understanding of the broader energy and industry sectors and what's driving them.
  • Solution oriented mindset with a gettingthingsdone attitude.
  • Team player, keen to take responsibility and to contribute beyond your core responsibility.
  • Excellent communicator, influencer, networker, experienced in speaking in public and in translating complex policy into wellresonating and accessible messages. Strategic mindset.
  • Keen learner with a flexible mindset, ready to adapt, and drive change in the company and the broader energy and climate sphere.
  • Genuine interest in technology, policy making, energy and climate policy, and international relations, intrinsic motivation to make a difference.
  • You share the conviction that diversity is a key strength and invaluable for our daytoday interactions and you contribute to bringing this conviction forward in the team and company.
  • Fluent in English and one other EU language. If you speak German, that's a plus
