Description:

USG Professionals is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst for our client in the region of Brussels.

Our client's Purchasing & Transportation department is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their young and dynamic PTX Business & Data Intelligence Team.

The primary focus of this role is to support their team in providing and analyzing data, implementing new reporting/dashboards, and providing first line support to our Power BI end-users.

You will work closely together with our Data Lead and team, as well as other stakeholders to understand the business needs and deliver data-driven insights.

You are part of the Global Procurement and Transportation Excellence team (PTX).

The Work:
Business Intelligence Analysis

Conduct business (intelligence) analysis:
Capture business requirements in structured way
Retrieve the data source into your analysis
Perform data quality checks to ensure integrity of data used in reporting and analysis
Collaborate with the PTX Business & Data Intelligence team and stakeholders to implement data quality and process improvement initiatives, as well as data governance
Data Requests
Serve as an expert to provide and analyze data (for the moment mainly in Excel and Power BI)
Respond to data requests promptly and accurately
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements
Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability

Power BI end-user support

Serve as firstline support for Power BI endusers and troubleshoot any issues. If issues are more technical, you will work closely together with our technical/development team to get the issue resolved.
Lead training sessions to enhance Power BI proficiency among endusers Profile

Profile

Bachelor's degree in e.g. data science, computer science, economics, or related field
More than 5 years of relevant working experience
Proven experience in Business Intelligence analysis
Proven knowledge of SAP system (preferable SAP Ariba, SAP SRM nice to have)
Proficient in MS Excel
Basic skills in Power BI
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problemsolving skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Eager to get a strong understanding of the business processes and environment
