IT Specialist for European Commission DG Informatics (DIGIT TM) in Brussels and various locations around Europe.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Participation in the development and maintenance of the existing EESSI components
Participating in the design and development of the future EESSI components
Preparing, facilitating, and reporting about the development activities
Analysing issues reported by EESSI stakeholders and provide fixes in timely manner
Collaboration with the Business Analyst team and testing team with what relates to quality assurance and quality control processes
Risk analysis with regards to the development activities and the delivery deadlines
Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans when needed
Interaction with other business analysts, business owners, customer, users, project leaders and the other developers in the team

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Bachelor's level or 3 years of higher education.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Selfmotivated and autonomous, with ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong analytical skills, ability to approach problems from multiple angles and find creative solutions
Proven capacity to analyse complex information, to consider options in a clear and structured way, to propose and implement recommendations and to make sound decisions
Ability to work effectively both with team members and with customers
Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, to make timely decisions, to reprioritize tasks responding to changes in a rapidly evolving work environment
Rapid selfstarting capability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong capacity in preparing and writing technical analysis.
Capability to speak to business and technical audiences.
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings, excellent communicator.
