Description:

Function:

Work within the Owner project team onsite, collaborating closely with the Site Manager, Construction Manager, and Mechanical Lead Engineer.
Oversee construction activities in a designated area, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and schedules.
Supervise construction of various equipment including Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Heat Recovery Steam Generator, Condenser, Water Treatment Plant, Gas Station, Cooling System, and Balance of Plant components.
Review construction methods, procedures, and drawings for compliance with reference documents.
Monitor and report progress compared to the construction schedule, identifying any deviations.
Identify and report nonconformities or punch list items according to project procedures.
Maintain a daily logbook of site activities.
Assist the Owner's Package Manager in progress meetings for equipment under site supervision.
Address daytoday issues and problemsolving as they arise.
Ensure contractual requirements and organizational protocols are followed.
Assist in obtaining work authorizations for contractor activities under the guidance of Site Manager/Construction Manager.
Act on HSE information provided and support HSE initiatives.
Aid in the transition from construction to commissioning of various systems under the Site Manager's guidance.

Profile:

Possess a Master's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent nonuniversity diploma coupled with substantial experience in Mechanical construction.
Demonstrated experience in construction supervision within industrial projects.
Prior experience in Thermal power plant Site construction is preferred.
Exhibit a strong commitment to safety and environmental standards, taking responsibility for both personal and team health and safety.
Embrace a handson mentality and maintain a serviceminded attitude.
Proficient in communication, both verbal and written.
Fluency in English and French languages.
Proactive and collaborative, with a knack for anticipating needs and being a team player.
