Beschrijving
The mission of Cellistic/ Ncardia Belgium is to understand human iPSC and developmental biology and harness this knowledge to develop and manufacture iPSC therapeutics that significantly improve patient outcomes.
We are convinced that pluripotent stem cell technology is the key to getting better, more efficient treatments to patients faster.
To achieve this mission, we are building a world-leading research facility to overcome the complexity and challenges of iPSC lineage specification.
We will know we have succeeded when we can reliably and rapidly generate cell products that consistently produce positive outcomes in patients.
**The positionIn this role, you will work in a multidisciplinary, international team of world-class scientists with state-of-the-art knowledge of stem-cell process development, scale-up and manufacture.
You will work with multiple project teams and build processes for complex data collection, data processing, data management, and data analysis required for robust manufacture of human iPSC-derived functional cells at high quality and large scale.
You are self-motivated with entrepreneurial work style, a strong focus on innovation, and critical thinking, and with experience in a service organization or demonstratable soft skills that are needed for commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop data analytics (e.g., pattern recognition, critical quality attribute and critical process parameter determination) to build Design of Experiments (DoE) and Quality by Design (QbD) systems for process robustness
- Develop and execute algorithms using machine learning (ML)/artificial intelligence (AI) programs designed to identify data patterns
- Develop and operate systems for complex data collection, processing workflows, statistical analysis, visualization, and reporting
- Link critical process parameters and materials to process and cell product quality attributes, to improve process and product robustness
- Ensure that data quality is adequate for technology transfer and GMP readiness
- Lead data science / bioinformatics tasks, both in house and outsourced to service providers
- Be wellaware of project biological context and provide biological interpretations of your results to teams with diverse scientific backgrounds
- Improve the efficiency of scientific and operational processes with your data analyses and reports
