Logistics at full potential

You will be working as Technician in a dynamic environment, where you will have the opportunity of taking part of this new and exciting project every day.

As a Technician you will fix basic mechanical and/or electronic faults.

What you do on a typical day

Performing timely maintenance and recording it appropriately
Ensuring stock of spare parts is replenished. Ensuring equipment is started correctly at the beginning of the shift is started correctly.
Ensure equipment keeps working and minimise downtime
Detecting causes of problems by carefully watching and listening to mechanical devices while they are in operation
Diagnose and make repairs where necessary
Maintain documentation for preventive maintenance performance, repairs to devices, parts consumption and other issues
Ensure a safe working environment and safe maintenance work

What you need to succeed at GXO

Minimum level of education: MBO maintenance or equivalent
Minimum work experience: More than 3 years' experience in a similar position
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written)
LEAN Warehousing
You have knowledge of machinery, materials, warehouse facilities and maintenance and repair methods and procedures
You have experience in running multiple projects and tight schedules
You have experience in supplier contact and relations
You are knowledgeable and skilled in carpentry, painting and plastering
You have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and vehicle maintenance
You have PC skills related to repair processes
You have knowledge of the principles and practices of effective customer service
You are focused on safety
