Who are we looking for? The Procurement Manager is responsible for supply of a large and diverse portfolio of service and supply contracts, capital expenditures, corporate purchases.

He/she is also responsible of or coach small transformation programs with an overall objective of reducing costs, increasing operational efficiency as well as enhancing delivered services.

Key to your success will be your ability to influence, problem solve and drive change across different departments of the company.

You will engage and support internal stakeholders at all management levels and a diverse group of external suppliers.

What are your duties?

Participate actively and if requested take the lead in assigned sourcing projects together and in close collaboration with the requesting department and other involved departments (business control, legal, IT,)

Identify, understand and challenge the business needs and requirements
Prepare or assist to the preparation of the business case
Translate the business needs and requirements into objective and relevant specifications and selection criteria
Search the market and select qualified suppliers
Draft the RFI, RFQ or RFP
Analyse and align the offers and identify the negotiation levers
Prepare the negotiation strategy and conduct the negotiations
Make a decision on the selected offer and supplier and present to the management
Prepare the contract and related service level agreements
Manage proactively the contract over the entire contract life cycle

Develop standardized systems and controls for Sourcing and Procurement activities including RFP templates, functional tool kits, required documentation, purchase and change order systems as well as supplier/contractor eligibility and KPI/success criteria

What is your profile?

Familiar with project management, can demonstrate strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Handson with strong communication skills and ability to engage and influence at all levels in the organization
Strong negotiation skills and an indepth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Focusing on result, detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Good interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with individuals and groups from a wide variety of backgrounds and organization levels, to incorporate their ideas, adapt to their needs, and to form consensus in appropriate situations
Able to link strategically longrange business goals to daily activities, demonstrated ability to work with others, and the desire to use organizational knowledge to assist and influence others to specific action
Proactive and with a positive can do attitude
Excellent written and oral communications (English & Dutch mandatory) and strong interpersonal skills
