As a medior Financial Controller, you have at least 2-5 years of experience in providing accurate and timely company records by managing the accounting function:

You coordinate the monthly / quarterly closings : controlling, analysis and reporting on both cost and income;
You provide in depth driver based cost analysis and advice to senior management;
You produce financial statements and report to the financial regulators and authorities;
You act as a Single Point of Contact for the external auditor and followup of open issues;
You respond to ad hoc questions from different business lines within your domain.

Next to a proven experience in accounting and cost controlling, you have the following core competences : Analytical thinking, Effective communication, Flexible, Independent, Priority management, Quality driven, Stress resistant

Detail JD:

We are looking for a financial Opex controller. Responsible for financial reporting and insights to the Management Committee Belgium as well as to Group Finance as input for external quarterly results.
In this position you will take responsibility across several Opex domains (mainly costs charged by group functions & Opex reporting regarding Build & Run costs).
On the one hand you will be responsible for controlling & reporting of these costs. But the main focus is on the analysis and driver based insights towards our Management.
These analyses are both expost (actuals) and forward looking, with an increasing focus on the latter component.
