    Job Description

    For this challenging position, we are looking for a Liaison Officer who acts as a bridge between the Social Intelligence and Investigation Service and the General Directorate for Workplace Welfare Supervision at the FPS Employment.

      You facilitate the collaboration between the FPS and the SIOD, particularly in the field of workplace welfare.

      You support the President of FPS and the SIOD manager in: You guide the collaboration between the SIOD and, among others, the Directorate for Workplace Welfare Supervision, aiming for a comprehensive approach to combating social fraud. You contribute to the development of the comprehensive strategy to create an inclusive labor market that ensures safety and health at work for all employees. You contribute to the growth of the SIOD as a strategic body in the framework of combating social fraud and its legal responsibilities including: 1° preparing policies as determined by the Council of Ministers regarding the fight against illegal employment and social fraud, for carrying out the strategic plan and operational action plan specified in article 2; & 2° directing and implementing prevention actions necessary for executing this policy; especially within the field of Workplace Welfare.
    • You ensure an effective and efficient execution of all necessary tasks and actions to channel knowledge, insights, and analyses related to combating social fraud and social dumping within the FPS and then make yourself available to SIOD partners and vice versa. You analyze new forms of collaboration within the field of Workplace Welfare and with partners outside the social inspection services, identifying new synergies to strengthen the fight against social fraud in that area.
    • You act as a connection person between the Directorate for Workplace Welfare Supervision at FPS and SIOD to further develop the strategy, mission, and vision of SIOD with consideration for the specific missions of these FPS services. You also defend and represent the interests of the Directorate for Workplace Welfare Supervision.
    • You guide the changes (within the FPS services, specifically the Directorate for Workplace Welfare Supervision) with special attention to the evolution in combating social fraud.
    • The current needs primarily focus on health and well-being & psychosocial risks, given the current emphasis on these areas - although other welfare domains may also be addressed.
    • The performance of this role at SIOD requires autonomous mobility. An important aspect of the position is flexibility in working hours. You manage your schedule but may need to provide support for deadlines in the evenings or weekends.
