Department Director - Compute & Memory Process Integration (CMIN)- Management - Leuven | Just now- Lead and shape the process integration department for core technologies of imec- What you will doIn this role you will lead and shape the Compute and Memory Process Integration department (CMIN) for core technologies of imec including advanced logic, memory and storage technologies and exploratory compute concepts.

You will keep building a strong organization capable of facing a broad variety of challenges, from the explosion of new concepts and materials in advanced roadmaps to the need of stable and reliable platforms, while mastering new tools such as AI and keep enough flexibility to face new business.

As CMIN (Compute & Memory integration) department director, you will:

  • Develop, inspire, nurture, and manage your talented teams and management staff to contribute to their fullest potential.
  • Maintain and improve engagement in your department by tackling fundamental issues such as workload and create a great place to work environment.
  • Allocate resources according to imec priorities and deliver on time these critical projects. You will define the best way to cope with amount of work with existing resources.
  • Meet speed and quality of learning targets affecting the department.
  • Make sure that roles and responsibilities and ownership of the department are clear for each project.
  • Enhance crossfunctional collaboration by effectively engaging with other leaders across different imec organizations, especially the process units and device department.
  • Assess feasibility of new projects in terms of skills and resources, give feedback to business / project management on capability and timeline.
  • Develop a longterm vision to develop expertise center: mission, role, what are the critical skills to develop, what are the priorities in terms of training / hiring.
  • Ensure a knowledge of stateoftheart industry integration flows in the organization. You also constantly review literature to be aware of any new disruptive technology that could affect your strategy.
  • Be accountable for presenting to partners or potential customers the overview of the department work.
