As a
product Owner you are a member of the MF enablers squad responsible for deliveries that meets the customer's needs to achieve the squad goals : Maintaining DB2, DB2 changes, RACF and support our mainframe developers.

You are responsible for defining and prioritizing requirements (stories) in the squad backlog and also accept these requirements as completed.

As a product owner:

You manage the product by:

- having the mandate to develop the product vision and synchronize it with the tribe lead, architects and the other product owners in squads responsible for related products.
Validating this vision with customers and stakeholders.

Constantly seeking feedback from stakeholders, product management, etc.
Defining complete, integral and consistent requirements for the squad.
Managing scope taking into account existing resource constraints and new findings.

You plan and prioritize the work:

Keep backlog up to date.
Keep balance between creating new things and reducing technical debt.
Hold meetings with squad to update the squad backlog.
Make sure the squad correctly understands the requirements.
Coordinate with teams led by other product owners to ensure synchronization in implementing complex changes.
Participate in Scrum events and squad life.
Effectively handle conflicting requirements from various stakeholders, persuading and advocating for change.

Participate in squad development:

Responsible for defining the set of necessary competences in the squad, in cooperation with tribe lead and agile coach.
Responsible for ensuring change management within squad occurs (rollout, training material, etc).

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of processes and tools used in development squads for both continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD).
Able to communicate effectively with both auditors and stakeholders regarding change management policies (based on ISAE3402 qualification requirements).
Drive adoption of Azure DevOps in the mainframe development part.
Main goal of the squad : modernization MF platform for developers and support the developers.
Work out the new operational model together with the agile coach and architects.
Have contact with external partners to discuss kpi's, projects and priorities.

Nice to Have:

Preferably Dutch speaking, Excellent knowledge of English.
Be able to see similarities and differences in processes when working with both the decentral and central development squads; and implement the bestofboth worlds.
Mainframe knowledge.
Experience with development teams in decentral development and mainframe development.
