We are looking for an IT Security Administrator to join our key team based in Wavre, Belgium.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of RHEA Group's IT security infrastructure. You will plan, test and implement security solutions necessary to protect corporate networks and information from cyber threats.

You will also be responsible for auditing and preparing reports to ensure controls defined by RHEA Group's Information Security Management System (ISMS) are being met.


Many of the tasks will be generating records based on processes defined within RHEA Group's ISMS to ensure compliance with ISO 27001.

This position will report to the IT Director.


Tasks and Activities:


The scope of work will include:

  • Designing, implementing, and documenting IT security solutions for RHEA Group.
  • Planning and implementing security related projects such as Two Factor Authentication for various systems, Device management solutions (Intune), Endpoint Protection, Conditional access policies, Firewall policy, Network design to isolate various network segments based on their function.
  • Vulnerability management; Scanning, documenting, reporting and remediation.
  • Monitoring and updating security infrastructure.
  • Testing and implementing security patches and releases for servers, workstations and network infrastructure.
  • Routinely testing security and ISO27001 controls. Records generation of tests.
  • Auditing User accounts and privileged access to resources on the system.
  • Audit and report on Firewall change management, documentation and risk analysis.
  • IT Asset management and regular audits of IT equipment.
  • Network monitoring and reporting.
  • Incident management (coordination with SOC).
  • Policy development and updating of existing policies within the ISMS.
  • Log collection and review.
  • Assisting with regular audits for ISO 9001, 27001 and other certifications.
  • The role may be required to assist with other tasks within the IT Department that may not directly relate to the IT Security analyst requirement from time to time.

Skills and Experience:


The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • College degree/diploma in a computer science, engineering or other related discipline or programme.
  • Solid communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Detailoriented, hardworking and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work independently when requested.
  • Fluent in English and French.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

  • Professional experience in implementing and monitoring security solutions and/or network technologies.
