Job Description Summary:

As a Customer Experience Consultant you will be the main point of contact for a selection of Key accounts from IDS, including the 'Bevolkingsonderzoek Nederland'.

These Key accounts will be defined by the IDS Management team and will be accounts that require a strong and aligned multi-stakeholder approach within BD internally (such as CSSO, Logistics, order management, technical service organization,etc).

In addition, the Customer Experience Consultant will be in direct contact and have regular meetings with these customers.

This role will report into the IDS Marketing Manager.

About the role:


As a Customer Experience Consultant you will be the main point of contact for a selection of Key accounts from IDS, including the 'Bevolkingsonderzoek Nederland'.

These Key accounts will be defined by the IDS Management team and will be accounts that require a strong and aligned multi-stakeholder approach within BD internally (such as CSSO, Logistics, order management, technical service organization,etc).

In addition, the Customer Experience Consultant will be in direct contact and have regular meetings with these customers.


The Customer Experience Consultant will be the back-office-drive behind the responsible account manager for the respective Key accounts but will not just execute upon specific requests from these account managers.

The Customer Experience Consultant will take individual initiatives and develop reports, tools and project charters to drive the agreements with these specific key accounts to a higher level of customer satisfaction and develop a true 'partnership'-approach with these Key accounts.

The Customer Experience Consultant requires good understanding and learning capabilities of the broad IDS-portfolio. Close collaboration with product managers and diagnostic solution experts will be key to achieve this.

The Customer Experience Consultant needs to have project/program management and process-skills to connect the dots from end-to-end through the BD organization.

Further development of the role could lead to input in process optimization.

The Customer Experience Consultant should have good commercial and communication skills to not only win the trust of the customer, but as well drive the internal stakeholders towards the common goal of 'Happy customers'.

This role will report into the IDS Marketing Manager.


About you:


  • Commercial Backoffice Expert or Inside Sales Experience (experience in the Medical Device industry is a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (Dutch, French and English)
  • Strong listening and presentation skills to deliver a customer centric support
- project management skills and influencing skills to collaborate with all internal stakeholders. This implies good analytical skills, good reporting skills and process optimization affinity.

  • Self Motivated, driven to succeed and willingnesstolearn mindset.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce as well as MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Team Player
