About the role:


The
Global Consumer PR Manager will be an integral part of the Social Media & Consumer PR team, working closely with both the team lead and area PR leaders to drive the Consumer PR strategy globally.

The mission of this role is to develop compelling content and partnerships to position our hotels and brands within top-tier lifestyle media and drive earned media opportunities.

This role is based in the Corporate Support Office reporting to the Senior Global Consumer PR Manager.

This role can be based in Brussels or Madrid.


Responsibilities:


  • Support in developing Global Consumer PR strategy, working closely with area PR leaders to localize and activate the strategy in their areas.
  • Cultivate strong relationships both internally with area PR leaders and key stakeholders and externally to develop key media and influencer/content creators' relations.
  • Act as expert for key stakeholders in the company to direct Consumer PR strategy across the business including sharing of best practices, guideline development and webinar trainings.
  • Provide recommendations to area PR leaders and key stakeholders on PR activation opportunities.
  • Assist in running the department's Press Office including preparing, reviewing and disseminating press releases; monitoring performance, and leveraging media relations.
  • Manage global press events to increase awareness and positive reputation of priority brands with focus on Radisson Collection. (e.g. ILTM Cannes dedicated Radisson Collection media event).
  • Manage Influencer Outreach Program and partnerships with quality content creators with the aim of establishing a strong global network, in alignment with area PR and Field Activation team in the local areas. Including identifying profiles, managing incoming requests, regular performance reporting.
  • Together with the Field Activation team, leverage content creators' network to produce quality content at scale to feed into global and individual hotels' social media channels.
  • Manage the content calendar of Consumer PR activities in close alignment with Corporate Communications topics.
  • Develop pressworthy partnerships to elevate our brands' positioning through distinctive content to drive visibility. Manage global events to activate these partnerships (e.g. National Geographic partnership).
  • Ensure consistent implementation of message house for all Consumer PR topics.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly Consumer PR coverage and activities report with clear measurement framework for KPIs.
  • Develop an indepth understanding of the media landscape across key markets in partnership with area PR leaders to maximize crossmarket activities and PRdriven brand events.
  • Globally, together with the Field Activation team coordinate and support press trips with a focus on icon hotel openings.

Knowledge & Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years of public relations experience preferably within the travel/luxury/lifestyle sector (inhouse or agency experience)
  • Experience with lifestyle media (lifestyle publications, social media influencers, content creators)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications/Marketing/PR or similar field
  • Experience managing Communication & PR within an international environment.
  • An experienced communicator capable of engaging senior executives and company employees in order to support implementation of the strategy.
  • Experience with PR tools for media monitoring (e.g. Meltwater, Sprinklr), press release distribution and influencer management (e.g. Klear).
  • Up to date knowledge of PR & Social Media, with a keen eye on best practices

Skills:


  • Nativelevel fluency in English both written and spoken. Another European language is a plus.
  • Creative writing and editing skills the ability to write compelling content with an understanding of what makes a newsworthy story.
  • A passion for communication a natural networker who enjoys collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to foster relationships with media, resulting in positive press coverage.
  • Strong attention to detail a belief that details really matter.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A creative mindset to help push the boundaries of communications.
