Stantec International Development, based in La Hulpe (south Brussels), is the Stantec unit that provides consulting services to international institutions, such as the European Commission (EC), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and EU bilateral donors.

We support international donors and financial institutions implement sustainability programs throughout the world. We help developing countries achieve resilient and equitable growth, transition to lower carbon economies, and protect their natural resources.

Your role

You will be a reference point in the Project Management Team for recruitment.

You will be responsible for sourcing the right experts from all over the world to implement projects on the Sustainable Energy, Climate Change, Digitalisation or Communication related areas.

You will be required to demonstrate a combination of discipline, flexibility, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Support the teams with the development of job descriptions and posting advertisements on a variety of job boards and social media, where applicable.
Management of the collection of necessary employment certificates and diplomas from applicants; crossreferencing with the information on the CV; Assisting in formatting and writing CVs.

Recruiter for the Int. Development Unit - Project Management Team

Qualifications:

1year substantial relevant work experience, possibly as a Recruiter/Junior Recruiter, or within a project working for profit or nonprofit organisations;
Academic background: A Bachelor's degree and preferably a Masters in a field related to recruitment or relevant.
Have previous experience recruiting for the EC or other EU institutions would be a strong asset.
Knowledge of professional search engines such as LinkedIn.
Interest in learning about environment/energy/digitalisation/climate change and similar technical areas.
Ability to synthesize and go through a vast amount of information.
Multitask personality, rigorous, with high attention to detail and strong work ethics.
Creative, communicative, openminded and results oriented.
Languages: solid written and spoken English; French will be considered as an asset.
ITskills: advanced use of MS Office.
