Beschrijving

We are looking for a customs specialist for a large pharmaceutical company in Zaventem.

You execute and follow up of all customs declarations in relation to the customs legislation.

Your tasks:

You followup of incoming shipments.
You coordinate import and export with forwarding agents, provide timely and correct instructions.
You file compliant and accurate import declarations towards the authorities.
You are responsible for the correct execution on special import/export documentation and assist in queries by customs authorities.
You ensure correct, timely execution of export declarations.
You maintain stock records on a daily base and ensure periodic stock controls of bonded goods.
You provide timely and correct input to all audit requests as appropriate.
You provide regular metrics and take necessary actions to meet compliance.

Your profile:

You have very good knowledge of English (written and spoken) because this is the main language of communication.
You have experience in a similar role.
You have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
You have knowledge of import, export and customs clearance activities.
You have good knowledge of Outlook and Excel.
You are a strong team player, who is comfortable in cross functional teams to achieve a common goal.
You are quality driven and strive for a high level of accuracy.
