About the role:


The role of HBSM (Human Biological Samples Management) Programme Manager and Process Optimisation is to to create and maintain a new HBSM Central Team (CT) program that measures value and manages delivery to help HBSM CT to continuously improve their operations and enable teams to operate and deliver in timely, compliant and focused manner on the organization's strategic objectives.


About the responsibilities:


  • Create a program that combines a concrete set of changes, selected with purpose, that measures value and manages delivery to help HBSM CT to continuously improve our operations in alignment with HBSM CT Mission & Vision
  • Lead the delivery of this program and the operational teams to remain focused and deliver timely in compliant manner on the organization strategic objectives
  • Support the definition and financial projection & ROI of new business case and ensure follow up with Finances partner
  • Drive strategic budget request and prioritization, oversee key milestones/deliverables, follow CAPEX spend
  • Proactively identify deviations from schedule and any other issues, evaluate options and implement optimal solutions within a defined timeframe through appropriate interactions with teams
  • Map the mostimpacted stakeholders to inform our change mitigation strategy and ensure relevant and timely communication to relevant stakeholders and report progress to the management
  • Support preparation for key decisions at appropriate governing bodies and/or escalate to governing bodies as required
  • Guide the business to find relevant and appropriate funding strategies
  • Follow the progress of initiatives within the program, make adjustments when required to reflect funding reprioritization, ensure the implementation of a coherent and integrated dashboard with relevant KPIs for the follow up of the program
  • Act as key partner with Finances, Business Transformation Organization, Digital Analytics Performance, CAPEX lead, Quality for R&D and any stakeholders involved in transversal activities
  • Manage transversal external or internal project managers and several SMEs within the business units

About you:


  • You hold a Master's degree (Biosciences or engineer), ideally in one of the following fields: pharma, Clinical study management, planning, project coordination
  • You are experienced in a similar role (at least 5 years)
  • You master French and English
  • You thrive the best in a complex matrix environment and demonstrate real leadership skills with a critical mindset
  • You are gifted with communication and your strong interpersonal skills help you to be a good negotiator, as it will ensure implementation of the strategic objectives of HBSM CT
  • Your project management and change management abilities are not to be proven anymore
  • You have a strategic vision and an analytical mind which enables you to be result and solution oriented. You are able to translate business objectives and expectations to scalable solutions.
  • You are comfortable with figures
