(CUSTOMER) DATA OFFICER

We are looking for an enthusiastic
Data Officer to
join our data team in offering support to the rest of the organisation around (customer) data related problems, issues, and optimalisations.

Your mission

Follow up on data related requests (problems, issues, or improvements) to ensure a fast, efficient, and customerfocused service to your end users.
Ensure daily data quality control and consistency checks in our databases and data flows.
Proactively think of ways to improve and/or automate data processes & visualization.
Focus on data management to ensure data quality and to report & translate existing data into valuable business insights.
Analyse and provide reports on the available data to support the different decisionmaking processes at Vlerick.
Participate in data related projects, building the bridge between the business needs and the technical implementation.

You

Have a passion for data and data quality.
Have a strong customer and resultoriented mindset.
Preferably have a first professional experience in a similar role.
Are familiar with MS Excel, bonus points for knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI and/or MS Dynamics.
Like working at the intersection of technology and business.
Are a logical and analytical thinker.
Are very fluent in English and have an excellent communication style.
Can be based on our campus in Ghent, Leuven, or Brussels in combination with your home office and are flexible to join the team in Ghent on a regular basis;.
