Responsibilities:


Backend Development:

Develop server-side logic and database interactions using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter to ensure efficient data processing and manipulation.


API Development:
Create and consume web services and APIs to enable data exchange and integration with external systems and services.

Code Review:
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Testing and Debugging:
Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and debugging to identify and fix software defects and issues.

Version Control:
Use version control systems such as Git to manage and track changes to code repositories, branches, and releases.

Documentation:
Document technical specifications, code documentation, and deployment processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.


Required Skills:


  • Proficiency in PHP programming language and experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX for front-end development.
  • Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB and experience with SQL query writing and optimization.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery, or for building responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum for iterative and collaborative development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a PHP developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of web development projects.

Certification in PHP programming or relevant web development technologies is a plus.
