Yusen Logistics is currently looking for an Operations Manager.

Your role:

As an Operations Manager you are responsible for the operational functioning of the warehouse and achieving the objectives, whereby improvements to the processes are developed and proposed on your own initiative.

You will also manage the warehouse material and monitor the correct functioning of the staff.

In this position, you will also:

Monitor KPIs and productivity on a daily basis and adjust your departments to achieve them
Resolve structural operational problems regarding goods flows, infrastructure, customer expectations, etc.
Monitor compliance with safety rules and GDP rules
Ensure the planning and organization of all warehouse activities in the short and medium term
Guide the supervisors in their tasks and assist with performance problems
Motivate employees to always strive for the best results
Analyze productivity, quality, storage capacity, etc. for constant monitoring to ensure the highest possible quality and return
Show exemplary behavior by ensuring that your operation and assets are safe for employees, contractors and local communities

Key Qualities We Value:

Bachelor's Degree or equal by experience
Minimum 5 years in warehouse environment + 3 years in leadership role
Knowledge of warehouse processes and logistics equipment (scanners, regulations, etc.)
Legislation and regulations (Wellbeing, prevention and protection at work, etc.), procedures (ISO standard, GDP, etc.) and security
Knowledge of safety in and around the warehouse
Insight into transport and customs documents
Knowledge of GDP regulations (if working in GDP operations)
