Key Responsibilities in the F&B department:
- Serves guests in a prompt and courteous manner in accordance with Food & Drink service standards during breakfast, lunch or dinner service.
- Prepares and properly garnishes food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation
- Supervises and supports team members in own section to achieve optimum quality
- Follows proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices at all times
- Promotes additional sales by taking opportunities to upsell
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the food & drink menus items to be able
- Advises guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly
Key responsibilities at the reception day and night:
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills, you will have a passion for delivering a great customer experience and you like to interact with guest
- Participates in the prompt and courteous check in and check out of guests
- Responds to guest requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings
- Arranges for special services requested by the guest
- Performs night audit duties as required
- Achieves departmental targets for guest satisfaction, room revenue and company initiatives and promotions by supervising the Front Office operation
- A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for producing high quality customer care
- Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards
- Able to work independently
Requirements:
- Experience in hospitality and/or Food and drinks
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch
- Handson approach with a passion for multi tasking
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry and service
- Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
- Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
- Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
- Strong communication skills
- You know this is a job about flexibility you are as comfortable serving behind the counter in the OuiBar, waiting tables, setting up meeting rooms, welcoming guest doing check in and check out. You give it your all to create great guests experiences.
