Veld 2:

Ensure the continuity of the operational Accounting and Reporting activities within the Subsidiaries department

Tasks:

Within the Accounting Subsidiaries team, you will be the point of contact for a number of subsidiaries with regard to accounting and financial reporting.
In concrete terms, the assignment involves establishing the link between the operational activities of the subsidiaries, their correct processing in the accounts and the final reporting to management, shareholders (annual accounts,...), regulators and tax administration (VAT, corporate tax return, etc.).
As a senior accountant, you have final responsibility for completing the accounting/reporting of the subsidiaries assigned to you.
Within the Accounting Subsidiaries team, you will be the point of contact for a number of subsidiaries with regard to accounting and financial reporting.

Veld 3:

At least 5 years relevant experience in operational Accounting and Reporting handling
2 of the 3 local languages (NL,FR,ENG)
Having an ITAA title is a plus
Accounting of Commercial entities Financial reporting
Strong MS Office (Excel & Access) skills
VAT and corporate tax returns have no secrets for you.
You have experience working in an accounting package (Exact, BOB,...)
Have a number of years of experience as an accountant and know what it is like to manage (and control) a file from A to Z
You can easily find your way around the Belgian accounting standards and the international accounting standards (IFRS) sound familiar to you (including the rules on deferred taxes)
