For our Finance Department, we are recruiting a
Part-Time Senior Accountant.

You are an accountant with proven experience in this field, more specifically:

  • You perform daily accounting tasks.
  • You review invoices for accounts, cost center, product line, VAT codes,
  • You prepare and file VAT/MOSS declarations and prepare all necessary local tax declarations.
  • You collect, analyze and summarize account information.
  • You conduct monthend, quarterend, and yearend close processes.
  • You prepare the balance sheet and profit/loss statement.
  • You prepare the NBB annual accounts in Belgium.
  • You monitor financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.
  • You keep up with financial policies, regulation, and legislation. And you follow accounting principles and other quality standards.
  • Get exposure to the financial aspects of a young company and be directly involved in projects such as digital transformation, automation, and accounting system implementation.
  • Work on challenging projects in finance in close collaboration with the VP of Finance.

The required
profile for the
Senior Accountant position:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • You have experience in an accounting firm or other relevant field as an accountant for more than 5 years, and a good command of BOB50.
  • You have a very good knowledge of accounting (BEGAAP) and corporate finance principles, procedures, and legislation.
  • You are an expert in Excel.
  • Fluency in English and French. Any other language is a further added value.
  • You are passionate about accounting and figures.
  • You have strong communication skills and are a real team player.
  • You think critically, with the ability to search, classify, interpret, summarize, and present information.
  • You can plan, prioritize and respect deadlines.
  • You take ownership and responsibility.
