We are currently seeking a Site Controller (full-time) for our Wandre site (Recydel).

Working in a company that processes used electrical appliances and electronics into secondary raw materials for the global market is a complex task.

Coolrec operates in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

As a Site Controller, your role is crucial in providing the right insights for decision-making that positively impacts the company's bottom line.

You will transform data into valuable information, discerning the narrative behind the numbers and engaging in constructive discussions with the business.

You will be part of both the Coolrec finance team with 12 professionals and the local MT and you work closely with our Shared Service Center in Lommel.

You will manage a team of 3 administrative employees and your direct reporting line will be to Coolrec's Business Line Controller.

Here's what your responsibilities will include:

Managing monthly closings, creating budgets and forecasts, and generating management reports.
Collecting and processing various operational data for monthly closings and forecasts.
Analysing monthend results to propose improvement strategies for the future.
Preparing periodic and adhoc management reports to facilitate better decisionmaking.
Conducting profitability analyses per customer.
Crafting investment proposals and evaluations.
Assisting in preparing price and tender proposals for clients.
Supporting invoicing processes to customers.
Collaborating with the operation as a business partner to define and achieve KPIs, identifying deviations early for timely adjustments.

Preparing reports for external stakeholders.

Coordinating the preparation of annual accounts in line with local GAAP.
Participating in various business projects.

What we believe, will make you successful in this role:

A relevant Bachelor or Master degree (e.g., Business Economics) or higher.
Ideally, 35 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Business Control, budgeting, and reporting.
Preferably, experience in a production environment.
Proactive, adaptable, curious, with strong communication skills.
Excellent Excel knowledge and analytical skills, along with familiarity with BI tools.
Proficiency in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.

As a team player, you'll interact with colleagues at various levels in the company. Your independence, flexibility, accuracy, and eagerness to learn will be key assets. Managing tight deadlines, adapting to changing priorities, and performing well under pressure will be part of your skill set. Structuring large amounts of data from different systems into valuable information will be something you enjoy.
