As part of our team, this individual will operate under general guidance from the EHS Manager to assess and develop facility-specific procedures & processes to comply with Company requirements and federal, state & local regulations.

• Be a Safety Ambassador.
• Integrate environmental, health & safety management systems with engineering and program documentation and schedules to maintain safe operating conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Review system altering capabilities or processes prior to implementation: review and assist with the Management of Change (MOCs), Safety Reviews, and Hazard Analysis
• Review all solventbased and processbased operations and projects to ensure compliance and viability with the solvent safety program
• Organize and provide leadership for all aspects of the solvent and general process by reading and reviewing mechanical and electrical drawings, procedures and solvent/process safety programs and policies
• Act as a liaison and respondent for audit activities
• Assist with development and implementation of training programs related to solvent safety, Confined Space, Hot Work, and other related programs
• If needed, capital will be requested and project management will be applied
• As a team member in the EHS department able to pick up specific tasks which the EHS department is responsible or accountable for.
• Act and benchmark in a team with all similar related profiles throughout the organization in Europe and worldwide to share ideas and remarks.

• Master degree in Engineering or Bachelor with relevant experience other related field of study strongly encouraged
• Prevention advisor experienced level I or junior prevention advisor level II
• 3+ years experience in mechanical/technical field
• Experience of working in facilities employing the Process Safety Management (PSM) Standard
• Ability to read and understand complex regulatory requirements
• Ability to develop training material and effectively conduct employee training
• Ability to read and develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's)
• Knowledge of relevant guidelines concerning ATEX
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage position responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from shop floor to leadership
• Fluent in English and Dutch (written/verbal)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, research and report writing skills
• Understanding of applicable computer systems
• Experienced in project management
