VECTURIS is looking for a
Procurement Manager.

Function
Management of VECTURIS's railway purchasing office.

He/she will negotiate and conclude purchases of any technical product or service, mainly railway products, under the best conditions of quality, price and deadlines, so that VECTURIS's subsidiaries and external clients (mainly railway companies in Africa) can optimize their production and their operation.

Hierarchical relations

Based in Limal (B-1300), Belgium, he/she is:

In functional relation with the managers and procurement officers of the railway networks (clients) and other structures involved where VECTURIS is a majority shareholder or has a management mandate or similar
In functional relation with the VECTURIS accounting department for all matters relating to customer and supplier invoicing for the files he/she handles.

Content of the job

He/she receives price requests and, on the basis of the history or his/her own technical knowledge of the files, sends VECTURIS's price requests to the various potential suppliers (minimum of 3, unless specified otherwise)
Identification of suppliers
Management of the procurement process (selection, consultation, evaluation, award, contracting, execution) for the supply of goods and services in the railway field (e.g. spare parts, mechanical and electrical supplies for rolling stock and infrastructure, railway engineering services, rolling stock, etc.)
Supplier contacts
Administrative management of orders (requests for quotations, offers, invoicing)

- keeping updated of monitoring tools, dashboards, etc.

Management of equipment shipments to the rail networks managed by VECTURIS and external networks, using the services of freight forwarders

Your Profile

Higher education degree in the fields of purchasing, supply chain, business
Experience of at least 5 years in the field of purchasing or supply chain in the railway sector including management / followup of shipments to Africa
Excellent knowledge of IT tools, in particular Excel, Access, PowerPoint and MS project
Willingness to carry out missions abroad, generally in Europe, USA and Africa
Fluency in both French and English is mandatory
Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
Experience in Africa and knowledge of ERP are assets
Good knowledge of Incoterms
Driving license

Price, quality and deadlines of purchased products
Uptodate scorecards
Respect of deadlines (for answering RFPs and following up on deliveries)
