Responsibilities:


The role of Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator is responsible for supporting the manufacturing operations in Lexmark's main warehouse location in Belgium, Geel, operated by Kuehne + Nagel (K&N) and the contracted operational team.

Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator will be responsible and accountable as EMEA process owner on following activities:

  • Customization
  • Rework
  • Return
  • Recertification
  • Repair


Provide support to other ad-hoc activities and/or projects that will be requested and that will require Engineering Manufacturing knowledge in order to deliver optimized solution and/or implement changes in any of above-mentioned areas.


Work actively with other functions inside Product Delivery like Planning team, Logistics, WW Returns and Service Delivery/Service Engineering, as well as outside functions like Marketing or Sourcing.


Get the advanced knowledge of Orion tool used during customization and manufacturing process, to be able to provide guidance and coordinate defects, failure or improvements and new deployments between K&N and Lexmark Global Orion team.


Support customization activity, primarily:

  • Ensure WW processes are applied
  • Report issues to WW team
  • Ensure production process meets specification (documentation)
  • Ensure K&N team has all necessary information to perform heavy and light customizations
  • Components management, SN traceability and Capacity planning

Support rework activity, primarily:

  • Follow rework operation and provide visibility to Product Delivery management
  • Ensure rework process is meeting Lexmark expectation
  • Be primary EMEA rework related contact point for WW Product and Quality Engineering teams
  • Ensure Rework components will be available in time

Quality management:

  • Ensure all Lexmark products that are going through the processes of manufacturing, rework, recertification and customization meet Lexmark Quality requirements

Requirements:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience with manufacturing or warehouse operations
  • Experience in an engineering role is required
  • Experience working with suppliers is an advantage
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work alone and drive improvements
  • Drive for achievement and operational excellence
  • SAP, Excel / Power BI knowledge
  • Quality and Lean Management
  • Lexmark/K&N specific: Orion / Pack Manager / Enovia is an advantage
  • English Advanced Working proficiency level
  • French/Dutch language knowledge is an advantage
