About the role


Within the Telenet Brand Strategy Department the Media Manager is in charge of managing all paid, owned & earned media strategies & delivery, creating and developing the most optimal channel mix across the full the customer experience funnel, from awareness to conversion and retention.


Roles & responsibilities

  • Be the paid media expert for all Telenet Brands.
  • Managing & challenging the media agency (ies) in collaboration with our budget & agencies lead
  • Negotiating the best rates with all paid channels partners and defining our level of forecast / commitment / investment by media
  • Creating long lasting relationships with all national & international media players for the benefit of the Telenet Group's business.
  • Adding intelligence, proof points and key strategic insights into the planning process, including testing & learning innovative & impactful strategies.
  • Provide strategic media input for all potential media variables (channels, time, frequency, targeting,)
  • Cocreate on strategic & tactical campaign briefings & delivery
  • Provide guidance and recommendation to our brand & communication community
  • Lead paid media planning, media performances and timelines with all stakeholders
  • Deliver concrete guidelines and KPIs where to play / targeting / formats / assets and messages for both campaigns and alwayson programs to Brand & Campaign team
  • Collect post buy analysis reports and key learnings and share insights with the teams
  • Gather local & int'l best practices for paid media to be shared with Brand & Comms team
**Qualifications

  • Highly advanced media experience in both offline & online media, ideally in a media agency, including previous experience in driving and executing media strategy in a multichannel, fastpaced environment.
  • Datadriven, analytical, media science based approach.
  • Experience in AdTech & analytics is a must
  • Ability to deploy & educate on the right KPIs and visualization for the greater intelligence of the team (shared dashboard & advanced reporting,)
  • Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project management, organizational and analytical skills
  • You are a factbased decisionmaker, pragmatic, resourceful, and proactive.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and has the experience and characteristics to respond quickly to the changing environment.
  • Excellent level of Dutch & English & French
