  • You will be trained in one of our more complex stations housing an interesting mix of modern and older technologies. There are regular new investments in which the E&I team is almost always involved (the next project is the conversion of station controls to PLCs). Fluxys' two major greening projects
  • CO2 capture and transport and hydrogen transport will also have a huge impact on Winksele station.
  • As E&I Team Leader, you will lead, motivate, coach and provide information to a team of two E&I technicians responsible for the operation and maintenance of the electrical installations, instrumentation and process informatics at the compressor station.
  • You will actively contribute to the safety policy.
  • You will be responsible for the electrical maintenance of the facility, which means you will devise the maintenance schedule, prepare the budget, ensure implementation, and follow up and make adjustments, if necessary. You will do this in close consultation with the other maintenance disciplines and of course in accordance with the availability of the facilities and the applicable safety regulations (e.g. ATEX, RGIE/AREI).
  • You will take part in implementing modifications to existing equipment.
  • You will be closely involved in facility expansions, from the study phase to commissioning.
  • You will support and participate in facility startup.
  • You will report to the local manager.
  • You will work the day shift and ultimately join the oncall team. While on call, you will rectify any electrical and mechanical faults to ensure continued efficient operation.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably electricity and instrumentation) or equivalent experience;
  • An affinity with PLCs would be a plus;
  • Around five years' experience, preferably in an industrial environment; a managerial background would be an advantage;
  • A good understanding of technical issues; sound knowledge of HV/LV facilities, instrumentation and process information systems would be an important asset;
  • A proactive attitude and a structured approach to planning both your own work and that of your team;
  • A real sense of team spirit with excellent leadership and communication skills, enabling you to manage and motivate others and give constructive feedback;
  • A meticulous and flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt quickly and easily to unexpected circumstances
  • A very good command of Dutch and knowledge of technical English;
  • Experience and proficiency with MS Office (familiarity with SAP is a plus).
  • A willingness to eventually be part of a shift/oncall system, meaning that you must live within 30 minutes of the Winksele compressor station or be willing to move that close.
  • A category B driving licence and your own vehicle.
