Job summary
We have an opening for an Electrical Safety Manager who will be responsible for the safety of all electrical installations works managed by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Benelux.The role involves ensuring that work on installations can be carried out safely in accordance with job responsibilities and applicable regulations.
You will also manage the safe operation of LV/HV installations and guarantee safe working according to legislation and SGRE procedures.
This includes setting up a safes system of work, advising and supporting sales and acquisition departments in setting up new contracts for electrical safety clauses,defining a Safe System of Work for bridging periods,managing existing installations, checking and approving designs for new wind turbines and installations,risk management, supervising execution of works ensuring right competence of all electrical persons working on BE installations.,
A day in this role might involve describing what could go wrong if things are not done correctly as well as what should be done to prevent accidents from occurring.
