Position overview:


The Senior Manager, Supply Chain/Global Trade HCCO will be responsible for collaborating with business partners and providing strategic guidance on projects, initiatives and processes that have health care compliance and global trade compliance-related implications.

The Health Care Compliance Officer will provide direction and oversight of the Health Care Compliance (HCC) and Global Trade Compliance Programs to ensure the business integrates health care compliance, global trade compliance, and corporate integrity principles into strategic plans and tactics.


In addition, this person will also be responsible for developing and executing initiatives and projects to support the HCC and Global Trade Compliance frameworks and programs aligned to J&J internal guidelines, local laws and regulations, the U.S.

Office of Foreign Assets Control, U.S.

Bureau of Industry and Security guidance, and the global regulatory framework, such as the United Nations (UN) Security Council, European Union (EU), and individual states and countries globally.


Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring business activities comply with HCC/HCBIG, laws, regulations and industry standards, and company policies related but not limited to:
  • Global Trade Controls Compliance
  • Interactions with health care professionals and/or government officials
  • Counseling and training business partners on relevant laws and regulations as applicable
  • Transactional and compliance reporting
  • Selling, promotion, and marketing of health care products and services
  • Perform risk assessment mitigation process and advise Business Management of potential compliance risk areas and recommended action plans.
  • Ensure accountability for compliance through risk assessment, problem identification, oversight & monitoring, investigation and followups within relevant HCC processes and systems (e.g., MAPs, RAMI, HIGHBOND, etc.)
  • Identifying potential HCC and Global Trade Controls risks associated with business activities and ensuring involvement of appropriate individuals within HCC, Privacy, Legal, Global Trade Controls to provide appropriate guidance.
  • Communicating company healthcare compliance and global trade standards and information updates on new laws and guidance to committee members, key business partners and agencies.
  • Provide input into Quarterly Risk Reviews with key stakeholders
  • Preparation of presentations for Senior Business Leaders, Compliance Committees, etc.

Program Management responsibilities:


  • Support Global Trade Compliance Program Director with development and implementation of a Global Trade Compliance program for the Enterprise
  • Work with Supply Chain/Global Trade Compliance HCCOs, HCC Global Trade Compliance PMO, Supply Chain Trade Controls PMO, and HCC colleagues to prioritize projects and deliverables to align on overall expectations, ensuring a riskbased approach
  • Oversee the creation of appropriate tracking mechanisms based on problem identification; provide clarity around the ambiguities of the evolving HCC and Global Trade Controls environment
  • Anticipate potential problems and proactively take appropriate steps
  • Assess compliancerelated educational needs, formulate and facilitate compliance training programs for relevant audiences

Qualifications:


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Knowledge of Global Trade laws and/or HCC fraud and abuse laws; antibribery/anticorruption laws (such as FCPA), Industry Codes, state requirements, and other relevant and applicable company policies is required.
