Your new company
Hays is partnering with a leading player in the automotive and mobility sector to recruit a Business Controller. Our client is an established international organization active in automotive sector, employing several hundred colleagues across Belgium.

Your new role
As Business Controller, you will act as a key financial partner to management. You proactively support decision-making by analysing, interpreting and reporting financial and business information.

Your responsibilities include:
Ensuring accurate translation of business activities into financial processes
Monitoring and improving financial and business-related workflows
Preparing clear management reporting, including dashboards and KPIs

Coordinating the strategic planning process:
multi-year plans, budgets and rolling forecasts
Following up on the corporate performance cycle, from target setting to periodic reviews
Advising on business-related projects, including the preparation and evaluation of business cases
Managing client profitability analysis and maintaining relevant tools
Providing training and insights to commercial teams to support performance improvement
In this role, you work closely with stakeholders across departments and contribute to strengthening business value creation.

Your profile

To succeed in this position, you bring:
A university degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in controlling within an international setting
Strong analytical abilities and a solution-oriented mindset
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information into clear messages for non-financial stakeholders
Proven experience in analysing business processes and working with automated data environments
A structured and detail-oriented approach, combined with the ability to manage tight deadlines
Full professional proficiency in Dutch and/or French and English
